Provincial Steering Committees
Provincial Steering Committees (PSCs) are provincial structures which play a facilitative role to ensure that three levels of government and delivery agents work together to identify rental opportunities in each province and facilitate the process of project preparation and submission for accessing funding for social housing. For more information about how PSCs operate and to know how to access one in your province refer to the following ToR and procedures.

InvestSocial Housing is a rental or co-operative housing option, which requires institutionalised management. It is provided by accredited SHIs or in accredited social housing projects in designated restructuring zones. |
RegulateSocial housing provides good quality rental accommodation for the upper end of the low income market (R1 500 - R 15 000). The primary objective of urban restructuring is creating substainable human settlements. |
PromoteSocial housing is not just about building houses, it is also about transforming our residential areas and building communities. |
